It makes me happy to see the resilience and excitement in our Tigers’ faces! It poured on our First Day of School morning festivities. It not only poured but thundered and many tears were shed in fear. Scout doesn’t like storms either! Don’t forget that Monday is Picture Day and we do have retakes in the fall. I am super excited for this year and I know our 8th graders are going to be the best leaders. They have already helped me with Kindergarten Kick-off and thankfully, Drew “brought the energy” we needed for some of our shy Tiger cubs! Next week is our first full week and by Wednesday our students should be back in “school mode”. Regular bedtimes and healthy meals are a good way to keep our students ready to learn. Even though your student might want to stay home, you should get them here on time to learn. I am super excited for this year! It’s going to be another great year to be a TIGER! Peace, Ms. B
It’s such a beautiful day today and I am soaking in the quiet solitude before the controlled chaos begins Thursday. I guess it’s time to get into the swing of things because the alarm will be deafening on Monday morning! Teachers start Monday with professional development and we are learning a lot of things that will help your students in their academic growth and progress as well as their health and safety.
